Bob Bagga, President & CEO of BizXchange

Bob Bagga is the President and Chief Executive Officer of BizXchange and is recognized internationally for his accomplishments in the barter industry.

Over the last 17 years, Bagga has built a number of successful trade networks, including his first company, Barter Business Exchange, which he founded at age 22 with less than $10,000 in capital. BBE was one of the largest and fastest-growing exchanges, with more than $60 million in annual trade transactions.

In January 2002, Bagga co-founded BizXchange, which grew 303 percent that year alone. Currently, BizXchange has more than 1,600 members who trade the equivalent of $4.5 million in products and services with each other every month.

Bagga has been a member of International Reciprocal Trade Association (IRTA) since 1992 and helped to develop its Universal Currency, allowing for international trade between exchange companies. He is a certified trade broker (CTB), the highest accreditation within the barter industry, as well as a member of the National Association of Trade Exchanges (NATE) and Young Entrepreneur Organization (YEO).

Bagga received national and international awards recognizing his contributions to the barter industry, including IRTA’s Outstanding Achievement Award and two Outstanding Achievement Awards from NATE.  He has been featured in numerous trade publications, including Financial Post, CBC Venture, CA Magazine, as well as being recognized as a top business leader in the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list. The US government has granted Bagga an O-1 visa in recognition of his status as a global expert on barter.
